Citadel Community Information

Located in the upper northwest quadrant of Calgary, Citadel is a predominantly single-family residential community developed by Apex and Melcore (West Citadel). Citadel is a well planned, family orientated community with a wide and varying price range that accommodates and appeals to most. Prices ranging from $200,000 to $700,000, Citadel attract many different buyers from empty nesters to first time purchasers. The estate area of Morningside is located on the east side of Sarcee Trail and is bordered on the east and north by a natural ravine and the Hamptons Golf course. There is a good mix of single family homes and condominiums. Now complete, Citadel has approximately 2,800 houses and 600 condominiums. Great access to the Rocky Mountains, Crowfoot Shopping Centre, YMCA, Superstore, Home Depot, Costco and the Calgary public library. The existing boundaries include Country Hills Boulevard to the south and Sarcee Trail to the east; the area will be bounded on the north and west by Stoney Trail Expressway that forms the first phase of the Calgary ring road. Views of downtown and the Rocky Mountains are enjoyed by many. The population for community is approximately 10,000 people.
